Scrapmatts Canvas & Kraft Plus Challenge

Hello Everyone

The days are as usual flying bye and I can't believe its been a whole month since my last post.
Life is just way to busy!!!!
The weather has finally turned cooler, though the days are still a little on the warm side, I think  its safe to say the nights won't be going back to that awful heat.

Im up over at the Scrapmatts Blog with a canvas that I created.
Part of being on this lovely Design Team was we had to create a canvas of ourselves,
What a challenge!!! Like most I don't often get the chance to scrap myself and what a mission finding an up to date photo.  In the end I had to opt for some selfies and try not to look like its a selfie...lol
Mission accomplished!!!

SCRAPMATTS

The background was created using  mixed media and the Scrapmatts Number template, along with water colour paper that I have coloured using paints.

Here is a different angle so that you can see the template I've used in the background.  I also used the Scrapmatts CB4034 Floral design, I firstly cut this in half before embossing it and I love the tiny little cloud like laser words.

Next up is the Kraft Plus Challenge that I had a chance to play along with.  We all play along at challenges for some reason.  Mine is to stick within the confines of the challenge, for me this pushes my creativity by working with what we are allowed to use.  Its easy to create a layout when anything is a go not so much when we are limited.

KRAFT PLUS CHALLENGE BLACK & WHITE

With only being allowed to use black and white it had me scourring through all my bits and bobs and transparencies are one of my all fave go too's.  On this I have used a few different ones along with  the Scrapmatts splatter template and The Crafters Workshop template, also used is used is a feather stamp.

This shot shows a close up where you can see all the transparency layering as well as the different scrapmatts chippies One of my all time faves is the lamp and chain you can check it out from the link.

Other products used are:

Scrapmatts Micro Beeds, glitter, Prima, Kaiser Kraft

Thanks for looking and have a great week!!!

  1. Great page. Love those chippies and the photo overlay.
I'm the opposite to you. Too much freedom and I struggle to create! I like the structure of being given guidelines. Isn't it funny how everyone is different. LOL
