SCRAPBOOKING TOP 50 CHALLENGE

SCRAPBOOKING TOP 50 CHALLENGE

Hello & welcome back to my blog.
I stumbled on this cute little sketch over at Scrapbooking Top 50 , Im still finding my way back around the challenge world and you can never go wrong with a sketch to get your creative juices flowing.

Here is my take!!!

I have used the Kaiser range Tropical Punch.  I thought it worked beautiful with this photo of my daughter and I have hidden journalling up where the "Just a Note" is.  This basically tells a story of how I know have to steal photos from my 21 year olds instagram account.  Apparently she takes better photos than me...lol

The side profile shot of my layout shows all the layering as well as the curling of the paper tho revela the paper underneath.  I have not heavily embellished as I really wanted the photo to be the focal point when I've already used such a busy background paper.

Thanks for dropping by!!!

Kraft + Challenge

Hello there!!!

Yes it has been sometime between posts, Christmas and New Year have come and gone and with that said I'm hoping to have more opportunities to craft this year.  I hadn't completely stopped scrapping, just last year was a very busy year.  So many challenge sites over the years have come and gone and just when you start to really like one POOF!  its gone.  So for my first time back to challenges I thought I would give the Kraft + one a go.

The Challenge this month is to use your own handwriting, simple enough, that is until I started journalling around the page.   It worked great working from the top down the side and then I reached the bottom of the cardstock, lol   Then came the problem of which to keep it flowing, upside down, left to right.  Oh the dilema of it!!!

And some close ups. I have used a few stencils and stamps along with paint and gelato's to create the background.

Other than kraft cardstock the rest of the products where scraps ot of my stash.  And the picture is of my daughter and her gorgeous new pup, although he is a lot bigger now.

Thanks for looking, Happy Days!!!
